Follow-up
Hi [First Name] — just a quick follow-up from your HVAC repair. If everything is still running well and you haven’t had a chance yet, here’s the review link: [Review Link]. Thank you!
When to send it
A good default is shortly after the repair is complete, once the customer has had enough time to confirm the system is working. Avoid sending it during a billing dispute, unresolved callback, or while the customer is reporting a problem.
A few things that help
- Use the customer’s first name when you have it.
- Mention the completed repair so the request has context.
- Send one direct link to the review page.
- Ask for an honest review rather than a specific star rating.
- If you send a reminder, keep it to one short follow-up.
If this becomes repetitive
The next step is usually automation
If you are copying the same review request after every completed job, that is a good sign the process may be worth automating. You do not need software just to send a few messages.
